Pelty works with the thermoelectric effect, which encompasses two separately identified effects – the Seebeck effect and the Peltier effect.
The Seebeck effect can be used to generate electricity while the Peltier effect is the presence of heating or cooling at an electrified junction of two different conductors.
The thermoelectric effect was originally discovered in 1794 by Italian scientist Alessandro Volta.
Pelty uses a state-of-the-art thermoelectric generator (TEG) that allows you to enjoy unlimited time of music. Actually, the effective running time depends on the quantity of the fuel contained in the burner.
Depending on the height of the flame you can enjoy up to six hours of music in Bluetooth® mode with just one burner refill.
Transform the space around you and LISTEN TO candlelight:
It will surprise your friends, make your place more charming and create the perfect atmosphere at the right moment.
Pelty is a sensory experience:
VISION – the diffusion of a soft candlelight enriched by a sophisticated design
TOUCH – a warm tactile experience offered by its elegant shape and its natural materials such as ceramic and wood
SOUND – a crystal-clear music played in every direction as if it’s being performed right in front of you
SMELL – the fragrance of your choice burnt by the fire
Common wireless devices for music reproduction may do their job, but they all look the same: cold digital objects, made of metal and plastic, detached from our physical perceptions.
Such impersonal features have nothing to do with music, an ageless way to speak to our emotions and deepest feelings. Whether we enjoy it intimately or we share it with friends, the warm nature of music finds its best representation in the fire of a burner.
